Practice Profile
QUALITY OF SERVICE STANDARDS
The doctors and staff of the Aird Medical Practice will endeavour to
provide a high standard of care to individuals and the community as a
whole. We have achieved RCGP Accreditation Standard and we are committed
to the NHS and equality of care.
This is a small practice and we feel this is important allowing us to
get to know our patients better and develop and maintain a relationship
with them.
We aim to maintain as much flexibility as possible and be easily
accessible to patients. We do rely on patients operating within
appointment systems, and not requesting unnecessary visits, wherever
possible.
Urgent cases will be given priority, which will at times mean patients
with less serious problems having to wait.
We shall act as our patients advocate whenever possible within the
resources of the local health care system.
We operate as a primary care team and you are encouraged to contact the
district nurses/midwives or health visitor where appropriate.
All information is treated as confidential within the practice.
